Marketing Tips: Secret Techniques to Build Your Business

If you want to be successful in your business you must develop an aggressive marketing plan. You can’t be shy, just do it!

In developing your marketing plan there are a few fundamental concepts to keep in mind.

The first thing you need to remember is that we are all in the same business – we relieve someone’s pain, or give them a “feel good” rush. When a person buys a new car they have a special fell good feeling. They might really need a new car, but they purchased that particular car because of how they felt sitting in it.

Promoting your business can be expensive. Many people have gone broke before they even got their business off the ground. You need a method of funded advertising so that you have the greatest R.O.I. (return on investment). You need your visitors to pay you to look at your opportunity! If you are on a shoestring budget you can use free techniques to increase traffic and get leads, but eventually you will need to pay for some form of advertising, such as Google AdWords or a e-mail campaign.

Methods of Free Marketing

· Blogging – This is probably one of the most powerful ways of getting free traffic.

· Article Marketing – This should also be at the top you your list. It’s really not that hard and is very effective.

· Video’s – Places like YouTube, MySpace are another good resource for budget minded entrepreneurs.

· Social Media – Facebook, Qassia, Stumbleupon, Digg are all great places to do social networking and getting your name out there on the Internet.

Whatever your niche is – search the Internet for bloggs, message boards, etc. for sites that have content pertaining to your niche market. Leave comments on the bloggs and other social sites. This not only helps them, but you will have your name on possibly hundreds of sites. Many of them will allow you to include a link to your website with your posted comments.

I could go on for pages, but I think you get the idea. If you do all of the above for six months you can have hundreds of visitors to your website everyday.

If you would like to learn more about no or low cost methods of Internet marketing go to Renegade University it is the best online training I has seen anywhere. There is no cost to register and much of the training is free.

One last comment: Remember that people are interested in their problems, not your solution. So don’t lead with the solution, just let them know that you “feel their pain” and understand their problem.

Great advice about listening to their problem and not offering a solution right off the bat.
